Dr. iur., Lic. rer. soc., Professor for public law, European law and the sociology of law.
His research focusses on two areas: (1) the procedure and organisation of administrative decisionmaking on the levels of states, the EU as well as on a global scale, and (2) the material criteria and instruments of environmental protection under national, European, and international law.
